“People Helping People” Teacher Mini Grants

we are excited to share one of the perks of being a credit union member!

Our “People Helping People” Teacher Mini Grants are back again because we want to support our local teachers, local schools, and our community!

Back to school time can be expensive for teachers. Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union is well aware of the fact that so many teachers feel the need to buy supplies and materials out of pocket, so in 2021 we created our “People Helping People” Teacher Mini Grant program. We believe supporting local teachers and schools with our mini grant program improves more lives.

The Mini Grant Program has been established to provide mini grants up to $200 to aid in teacher classroom supplies expenses, enhancing field trips, expanding projects, or just about anything else that teachers spend out of pocket funds on. Additionally, it’s our 75th year of “People Helping People” so we would like to give you an extra $75 to support a pizza party for your classroom!

We know teachers love to help their students succeed. The teachers selected for a mini grant will also receive a $500 donation to their choice of their schools’ fine arts or extra-curricular programs! This could be art, library, music, dance, theatre, robotics… you get to decide!
