Remote Mobile Deposit a check from anywhere! Mobile Deposit lets you submit photos of the front and back of your endorsed checks into your checking or savings accounts.

Steps to submit a mobile Deposit:

  • Endorse your check with a signature and as follows: For Remote Deposit only at EIFCU

  • Login to your EIFCU Mobile App.

  • Click on “Deposit”.

  • Select a deposit account.

  • Enter dollar amount shown on original check image.

  • Follow Prompt: take a picture of the FRONT of the check.

  • Follow Prompt: take a picture of the BACK of the check.

  • Click Submit.

  • Select “History” to review the status of all previous remote deposits.

Deposit Limits:

  • Daily Deposit Limit $1,000

  • Items Per Day 3

  • Per Item Limit $1,000

  • Rolling 30-day Limit $5,000

  • “For Remote Deposit only at EIFCU” must be printed under the endorsement

  • All endorsements must be present on the back of the check including the phrase above.

  • Current check hold policy will apply for deposits.

FAQs

Are there fees associated with mobile deposit?

*EIFCU does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking. Your wireless carrier may charge you for data usage and text message services. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data usage or text messaging charges that may apply.

how should a check deposited through mobile deposit be endorsed?

The payee must sign the endorsement line, and “For Remote Deposit only at EIFCU” must be written below the payee’s signature on the back of the check. If a check is improperly endorsed, it will be subject to return, and your deposit may not be processed.

how long should i retain my original check after making a mobile deposit?

For your protection, please retain the original check for at least two business days after receiving confirmation that it has been posted to your account. When you are ready to discard it, mark it “VOID” and dispose of it securely to prevent it from being presented for payment again.

what happens if an issue arises with my mobile deposit after i discard the check?

If an issue should arise and the original check is no longer available, please contact the check issuer for a new check that can be resubmitted for deposit.
