Remote Deposit

Remote Deposit a check from anywhere! Remote Deposit lets you submit photos of the front and back of your endorsed checks into your checking or savings accounts with Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union.

Benefits include:

  • Freedom to deposit original checks anytime and from anywhere with your Mobile App.

  • Safe, fast, and secure transmission of your funds.

  • Easily review remote deposit history.

  • Easier ability to make loan payments. (Deposit into your account and use the transfer option to make your loan payment).

  • Save time and money by reducing trips to the credit union.

Steps to submit a Remote Deposit:

  • Endorse your check with a signature and as follows: For Remote Deposit only at EIFCU

  • Login to your EIFCU Mobile App.

  • Click on “Deposit”.

  • Select a deposit account.

  • Enter dollar amount shown on original check image.

  • Follow Prompt: take a picture of the FRONT of the check.

  • Follow Prompt: take a picture of the BACK of the check.

  • Click Submit.

  • Select “History” to review the status of all previous remote deposits.

Deposit Limits:

  • Daily Deposit Limit $1,000

  • Items Per Day 3

  • Per Item Limit $1,000

  • Rolling 30-day Limit $5,000

  • “For Remote Deposit only at EIFCU” must be printed under the endorsement

  • All endorsements must be present on the back of the check including the phrase above.

  • Current check hold policy will apply for deposits.


Bill Pay

Pay your bills with our easy to use Bill Pay, anytime, anywhere. Access Bill Pay through our Internet Banking to pay bills at your convenience. The worries of writing checks, buying stamps or risking paper cuts on your tongue from licking envelope flaps are over!

  • Easily set up your payment - Just enter information about the payee once, then all other payments are literally a mouse click away.

  • Flexible payment setup¹ - Set up a one-time payment or weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or even yearly recurring payments.

  • Real-time payment² - Electronic payments will be processed in 1-2 days, while check payments may take up to 4 days.

  • Person to Person payment² - Send money to friends or family members at another financial institution or to their PayPal account.

  • eBills - receive your bills within Bill Pay.

  • Calendar View - showing a snapshot of all upcoming scheduled bill payments.

  • Gift & Charity payments - allows you to gift funds to friends and family or donate to a charity.

¹ Bill Pay supports: one-time payments on specified date; and automatic payments occurring on provided dates and frequencies. Payments can be changed or canceled at any time up until the scheduled Send On date.

² Funds must be available in the account on the specified "Send On" date when authorizing payments and transfer. If funds are not available, a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) or Overdraft fee will be assessed.

  • Easy access - No need to wait for snail mail. e-Statements gives you access to your statements earlier in the month with a monthly email informing you when your statement is available.

  • Easy to organize - get rid of those filing cabinets at home. Download your e-Statements and print as needed.

  • Securely encrypted - safety first. No need to worry about lost or stolen mail. Your e-Statements are delivered through your online banking experience for safe and secure access to your personal financial information.
