Our 2026 Annual Meeting: Thank you for being a member!

Eastern Indiana Federal Credit Union, based in New Castle, held their Annual Meeting, letting members know they are appreciated. Members were greeted with a gift array of desserts served by the Breakfast Optimist Club. During the meeting, attendees heard member news and elected board members. Refreshments was served by the New Castle Breakfast Optimist Club. Members had the chance to win several door prizes including large hanging flowerpots, Yeti cooler, cash, and gift cards.

The meeting opened with a greeting from Board Chair Jody Sloan and an invocation by Supervisory Committee Chair David Abbott. The following directors attended: Jody Sloan, Kevin Brown, Cindy Kurz, Jacquelyn Reno-Kriech, Donna Bouslog, Corey Murphy, and Leah Combs. The following Supervisory Committee Members attended: David Abbott, Corey Murphy, and Thomas Thrasher. Many members attended as well, providing a quorum for the meeting. 

During the President/CEO report, Leah Combs shared several highlights including continuing to earn a five-star rating from Bauer Financial while focusing on improvements to make our members financial lives better.

Attorney Greg Crider presided over the election for the board of directors. Jody Sloan, Kevin Brown, and Corey Murphy were elected to the board for a three-year term.

Employees were recognized for years of service: Bethany Phillips 20 years, Angi Massengale 10 years, and Erin Fischer 5 years.

Board Member Jacquelyn Reno-Kriech was recognized for 10 years of volunteer service.

A big thank you to all of you who brought socks to our Warm Hearts Warm Soles sock drive. 181 pairs of socks were collected for Warm Hearts Warm Soles.
